Nenah Bondi is a Southern Oregon based photographer and website designer. Profoundly committed to deep ecology, Nenah has spent the latter part of her life in wild places, seeking to live in harmony with Earth and her creatures while developing and teaching the skills of sustainable living.
A passionate visual artist with 10+ years of experience, Nenah’s photography often showcases visions of women joining together in meaningful ways. She feels most alive when serving communities of artists, visionaries, healers, and earth-lovers. She believes local community efforts are slowly but surely returning beauty, relationship, and aliveness to our planet in crisis.

17 years! I started photographing my friends early in high school, learned Photoshop my sophomore year, and experimented with film in the darkroom my junior year. I’ve offered my photography services professionally to women in my community since college.

I’m blessed to live on a cozy campground in remote Southern Oregon, where most of my photography takes place. The landscape here is gorgeous and diverse, and there’s truly something special here for everyone! I’m also open to traveling elsewhere given the right opportunity.

Travel and accommodations are separate expenses from my photography packages. There are super cute A-frame cabins and unique Domes available to rent at this campground for your stay (or as locations for your photos). Please email me for more information about booking accommodations.

As someone who had never camped for the majority of her life before living on a campground, I encourage you to embrace whatever weather comes our way. Most lighting and weather conditions can create stunning, unique results and experiences. If the weather becomes so poor that it may cause complications, then we may consider rescheduling to another time that works for both of us.

Each one of my packages includes a guaranteed base number of images, but I’ll deliver any photos that turn out. I don’t believe in withholding images from you to get you to pay more. You’ll definitely receive enough photos to remember your special moments on the land.

After our time together, I backup your photos in multiple locations. Then, I sort through all the RAW images and make my selects, and then apply my signature editing style to them. I include the minimum amount of photos included in your package, plus as many extra are needed to tell your beautiful story. After I finish editing, I’ll send you a link to a full gallery of high-resolution images for easy download and sharing.

My packages include some medium format film images, which require processing time. I send the negatives to Citizen’s Photo in Portland to get developed, and they usually return high resolution scans back to me in about 3 weeks. For larger digital photography packages, I may request up to 4 weeks to deliver your set.

I require a deposit of 50% to reserve space and time in my calendar, and the final 50% is due within 24 hours after we finish our photography session. When booking, I may turn away other sessions for your reserved time slot, and backing out of the session may leave an empty spot that could have been given to another client. Therefore, session deposits are non-refundable and if you need to re-schedule, a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date.

Each photography package is presented on a sliding scale to make my services accessible to women from many backgrounds. You are also welcome to split the cost of your photography session amongst a group of friends. I do not offer any additional discounts, and these sliding scale prices do not include a commercial license which is necessary if your photos will be used for business purposes.

The short answer is, under most circumstances, no. I believe editing is part of the magic of photography, and is key to developing a signature aesthetic that showcases how each unique photographer sees the world. However, if you believe edited photos would compromise your integrity as an artist (for example, in the case of photographing naturally dyed clothing) then I am open to discussing what would feel best for you. Under no circumstances will I deliver RAW files without additional compensation. If you feel I missed delivering a specific photo, please ask! I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over to you.

I believe women are so beautiful naturally! I don’t alter the way you look in photos other than skin blemishes or temporary bruises and scrapes. However, I am open to some advanced retouching as an add-on, upon request.

I love photographing special, beautiful products! However, I don’t believe in the use of disposable props or backdrops, so my product photography is taken in a portrait or lifestyle format - which means out in nature, with or without models. If you’d like to use my photography for your business, please add on the appropriate commercial license.
