The Seasons of Business

Just like nature, our business also goes through cycles.

Our business' seasons may not align with the natural seasons, but they are still ever-present if we pay attention. It’s important to utilize the energy of the season you’re in, as each season offers gifts and lessons.

Spring:

Potential and Possibility.
Inspiration!

An abundance of ideas and creativity may blossom. You’ll become full of energy, just like a busy bee. You also may find clarity around your purpose. This is a good time to develop your marketing strategies and establish connections with your community. Even though we don’t always see the fruits of our labor in spring, we'll have hope and confidence in our visions and in our ability to manifest.

Summer:

Watering.
Rapid growth.

Nurturing the seeds, and tending to the growth from the busy season prior. Removing the weeds so each plant can flourish to its fullest potential. This is an opportune time to reinforce your business foundations, tend to your relationships and promote your services to others. Check on what you’ve planted, and give some water and some love.

Autumn:

Reaping the harvest.
Enjoying!

Your business is experiencing abundance and it feels so good! You’re reaching maturity and giving gratitude. & You’re thanking yourself for your focus and commitment. This could be a great time to invest back into your business, find a mentor, or take a course to refine your skills. Be sure to enjoy these smaller and bigger moments, and celebrate! Fall doesn’t last forever, and all seasons pass into another eventually.

Whatever season you’re in, remember that each offers a unique energy and all energies are helpful for growth. You can navigate shifts in your business confidently knowing that everything has cycles, everything ebbs and flows. Instead of resisting, how can you make the most of where you’re at now?

Winter

Reflecting, resting
and
restoring,
Taking it slow
Breathing.

Rest can be something we embrace openly, or it can be something we come to experience involuntarily. Maybe our clients dwindle, or perhaps we feel unmotivated. This could be a perfect time to identify what has been working in our business, or what needs to be let go. Cherish this time, knowing that planting season is just around the corner.
