"For all of my adult life, I have been dedicated to supporting small brands, women-run businesses, and artists of all kinds. I have helped countless others build their brands but was always dreaming of the day I would invest that same time, energy, and money into myself. I work as a Birth Doula and my intuition was telling me that I needed to move on to the next phase of my business and that I needed a brand and website to support the leap. I had some friends talk me out of hiring a designer years earlier saying "You can do that yourself" and I knew they were wrong. I wanted skilled, dedicated, tender guidance. Just like I give my clients.

I trusted my inner voice and committed because I knew deep down it was always supposed to be Nenah. Every step of the process was affirming for me. I struggled with writing the copy about myself and she always met me with patience, ease, and solid feedback. Never pressure or stress. Something I needed. The way she could interpret my asks into visual desire was alchemic. At every step from the visual identity to the final draft and launch, I would seriously be in tears of joy sitting at my desktop. I felt as though I was having rushes of Oxytocin as we birthed my site into the living world together. I'm so grateful to have been guided by Nenah and I can't wait to work with her again as my brand expands to meet today's business needs.

If I hadn't started the process of working with her when I did, I don't think I would have been able to meet this moment in my new career. As I have grown through my generational financial wounding and gained more personal financial literacy one thing that mattered to me in building a website was paying women and paying them their worth.
